EXEMPTION OF IMPORT DUTY ON IMPORT OF RAW MATERIALS AND
FILM PRODUCTIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE NATIONAL FILM INDUSTRY

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Attachment (Indonesian)

Considering:

a. that, to encourage the improvement of the capacity of the national film industry, it is deemed necessary to give exemption of import duty on import of raw materials and film productions equipment;
b. that, based on the considerations as meant in paragraph a it is necessary to stipulate Regulation of the Minister of Finance on Exemption of Import Duty on Import of Raw Materials and Film Productions Equipment for the National Film Industry.

In view of:

1. Law No. 8/1992 on Film Affairs;
2. Law No. 10/1995 on Customs Affairs (Statute Book 1995 No. 75, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612);
3. Government Regulation No. 6/1994 on Film Business Operations (Statute Book 1994 No. 11, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3541);
4. Presidential Decree No. 20/P/2005;
5. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 547/KMK.01/2003 on Stipulate of Tariff of Import Duty on Import Goods;

DECIDES :

To stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON EXEMPTION OF IMPORT DUTY ON IMPORT OF RAW MATERIALS AND FILM PRODUCTIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE NATIONAL FILM INDUSTRY.

Article 1

Import of raw materials and film productions equipment as stipulated in the Attachment to this Regulation, shall be given exemption of import duty so that the tariff of import duty becomes zero percent (0%).

Article 2

The request for exemption of import duty as meant in Article 1, shall be filed to the Director General

the Director for Cultural Values, Arts, and Films of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Article 3

The Director General of Customs and Excise on behalf of the Minister of Finance shall issue Decree of the Minister of Finance on exemption of import duty as meant in Article 1 based on List of Goods and the specifications as specified in the Attachment to this Regulation.

Article 4

The Director General of Customs and Excise is instructed to implement the provisions ofthis Regulation.

Article 5

This Regulation is valid for twelve (12) months since the date It is stipulated.

For public cognizance, this Regulation is published by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
